Involving God in all our Agendas

Everyday is filled with small activities from making small to big decisions for our lives.

But to be in a relationship with God, one has to lay each one up to Him for His will, wisdom and guidance or just to have Him involve in the smallest of ways such as how we women fix our hair, to the way we modestly dress (but not necessarily in a much covered way but enough to be modest in His eyes), to thanking Him for the nice cafe that we just visited to the time spent with loved ones to the pet dog or cat that He introduced to our lives for us to take care of.

How great it would be to involve God in every small purchase from clothes, to food to bigger things such as a house, a car or travel destinations. That He would make use of everything that we have or do for His glory somehow. Such as a house to spend time carrying out bible studies, or just having people over for fellowship, to helping drive a friend to their destination whilst talking about God and how He has worked in each other’s lives. May our hearts be sensitive to how He would want to use us with our own resources to help other people grow closer to Him or inspire to build that relationship with Him as well.

To involve Him in our careers as well, for we may plan our own ways, but His ways would only prevail. To walk with Him in every day as we work in our jobs for even in the smallest, mundane tasks, He could work His power and presence through. To walk this life (from our careers to relationships to our self-interests or hobbies) everyday with Him.

Luke 10:38-42 NKJV
38 Now it happened as they went that He entered a certain village; and a certain woman named Martha welcomed Him into her house. 39 And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus’ feet and heard His word. 40 But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she approached Him and said, “Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me.”
41 And Jesus answered and said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. 42 But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her.”
