Increasing Our Faith In Our Everyday

God does not care about pleasing everybody, nor getting approval from people nor should we too. He just wants us to be faithful – “FAITH FULL” – to be full of faith, to strengthen or increase our faith, and to practice our faith in today’s modern age.

“I don’t have to be awesome, I just need to have faith. I don’t need to try to impress or gain attention. I just need to be faithful. It was the faith or lack thereof that amazed Jesus in scripture.” – Unknown.

With great faith do we only get to please Him.

Like how Abraham believed in God, and it was counted by Him as righteousness (Romans 4:3).

“But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for He who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.”
Hebrews 11:6 NKJV

We should strive to know and understand we could do much greater things when God is involved and this includes examining our faith in understanding He can do bigger, unexplainable things in our lives in ways unexpected.

“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.” – John 14:12 NKJV

“Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.” – John 14:12 NIV

“He must increase, but I must decrease.” – John 3:30 NKJV

As a young adult, my faith gets tested in various ways. But in response, do we cower in defeat when life undergoes terrible circumstances, or do we know we are victorious each and every time, because God’s hand is with us, helping us to pull through no matter how difficult.

Like Moses and the parting red sea (Exodus 14).
Like Elijah and the fire on Mount Carmel to fleeing due to fear and meeting with Him at Mount Horeb (1 Kings 18-19).
